Houstonia woman injured in crash
A Houstonia woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:10 p.m. Monday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandy L. Klinesmith, 18, was driving west on state Route T, four-tenths of a mile east of Buckley Road, when her vehicle traveled over an icy section of the road and it traveled off the right side of the road.
Klinesmith, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to I-70 Community Hospital in Sweet Springs with minor injuries.
Marshall woman injured in Saline
A Marshall woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Charlotte M. Sidwell, 64, was driving south on U.S. Highway 65 at state Route H. She was driving too fast for the conditions and her vehicle began to slide on the road. It traveled off the left side of the road, struck the ground and became airborne. It then struck the ground again, overturned and came to rest on its right side.
Sidwell, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
