Katy Trail Community Health has announced the opening of CareNow, a new Walk-In Saturday clinic at its Sedalia location starting Saturday. CareNow is a convenient option for people with minor illness or injuries. Opening the Saturday clinic is based on a recent survey conducted by Katy Trail Community Health indicating a clear need for Saturday medical care in Pettis County.
“When you’re sick or hurting, you want care right away,” said Chief Medical Officer Teresa Gatton. “CareNow, our Saturday Walk-in clinic, will be an appropriate choice for patients who do not need emergency room services but are not feeling well.”
No appointment is necessary; patients will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anyone can come to the clinic for an appointment. New or existing patients will be accepted, which means you do not have to be a Katy Trail Community Health patient to be seen. CareNow will see people with non-emergent medical needs including:
• Sore throat
• Ear aches
• Minor cuts
• Flu, cough, colds
• Nausea and vomiting
• Urinary Tract Infection
CareNow will be open beginning Saturday, Jan. 9. The hours for the new clinic will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The clinic is located at 821 Westwood Dr. Katy Trail Community Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most health insurance plans. KTCH also offer a sliding fee discount for eligible patients. For more information or questions regarding CareNow, call 826-1188.
