Woman hurt in Sedalia crash
A woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident at 6:01 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue.
According to a Sedalia Police Department report, Dudley E. Cramer, 44, of the 1100 block of South Harrison Avenue, was driving east on Broadway Boulevard nearing Massachusetts Avenue when he did not see the vehicle in front of him, driven by Karla R. Limbaugh, 58, of the 1200 block of Deseret Road, use her turn signal and stop.
Cramer said he attempted to avoid a collision by swerving right, but struck the rear of Limbaugh’s vehicle, which caused it to hit the rear of a third vehicle, driven by Patricia J. Sturges, 57, of the 1500 block of East 36th Street.
Both Limbaugh and Sturges said their vehicles were stopped and waiting to turn left when they were struck.
Limbaugh was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for chest pain.
Florence man injured in Morgan
A Florence man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Richard G. Craig, 75, was driving south on state Route 135, four-tenths of a mile south of Rattlesnake Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and mailbox and returned to the road.
The vehicle then crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.
Craig, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
