Sedalia teen injured in crash

A Sedalia teenager sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:05 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Amanda L. Matz, 16, was driving north on Cambridge Road, south of Nottingham, when her vehicle traveled off the road, struck a ditch and became airborne. The vehicle then struck the ground, slid on its top and came to rest on Nottingham.

Matz, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.

Clinton man injured in Henry

A Clinton man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:15 a.m. Friday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Joshua N. Trent, 37, was driving east on state Route M when he failed to stop at the intersection of state Route 13. His vehicle traveled off the east side of Route 13 onto a private drive. The vehicle struck a gate and tree before coming to rest.

Trent, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with minor injuries.

Man injured in Moniteau

A California, Missouri, man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:25 p.m. Thursday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Travis W. Tucker, 28, was driving west on U.S. Highway 50, a half mile east of Jacket Factory Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a rock bluff and overturned.

Tucker, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City with minor injuries.
