Marshall woman injured in Pettis crash
A Marshall woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Maria Miranda, 34, was driving south on state Route H, just south of Elliot, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and returned to the road. Miranda overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to travel off the right side of the road again and begin to overturn.
Miranda, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.
Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
