WARRENSBURG — A Knob Noster man was arrested for statutory rape last week in Warrensburg.
According to a news release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Andrew T. Barbee, 25, was arrested Friday for statutory rape and sodomy, the result of an investigation conducted by members of the MSHP Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Knob Noster Police Department.
Barbee was arrested in Warrensburg and has since been charged with first degree statutory rape and two counts of first degree statutory sodomy. He is at the Johnson County Jail on a $35,000 bond, cash only.
Information regarding an arraignment or hearing was not available at press time. Online court records do not list an attorney for Barbee.
