Two vehicle accident sends one to hospital

An Otterville man was injured in a two vehicle accident at 5:03 p.m., Friday in Pettis County.

Cory M. Evans, 26, was traveling east on Hwy. 50, west of Prestwick Farm Road, when the vehicle he was driving crossed into the the path of a west bound vehicle driven by Tosha R. Campbell, 23 of Kansas City, Mo. according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report.

The vehicle driven by Campbell stuck the vehicle driven by Evans.

Reports indicate that Campbell was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident while Evans was not.

Evans was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance where he was treated for minor injuries.

Benton County Accident sends one to the hospital

A Stover woman was injured in a two vehicle accident at 5:42 in Benton County.

Jessica N. Keehn, 22, was injured when the vehicle she was driving struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Anita C. Derendinger, 46 of Cole Camp according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report.

The vehicle driven by Derendinger was traveling east on Missouri Hwy. 52 at Morarity Ave. when it was struck by the vehicle driven by Keehn in the rear. The force of the crash caused both vehicles to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.

Keehn was ejected from the vehicle.

Reports indicate Derendinger was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident while Keehn was not.

Keehn was transported to Bothwell regional Health center by Warsaw/Lincoln emergency services where she was treated for moderate injuries.

Warrensburg teenager injured in a single vehicle accident.

Brooke M. Farwell, 19, of Warrensburg was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Matthew K. Walsh, 17, of Knob Noster.

The accident occurred at 2:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon when the vehicle driven by Walsh eastbound on state road 75, half a mile east of Route D slide off the left side of the road, hit a tree and overturned according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Report.

Reports indicate both occupants were wearing safety devices at the time of the accident.

Farwell, who suffered minor injuries was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
