Clinton woman injured in Henry County crash

A Clinton woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday in Henry County.

Stephanie R. Stansberry, 21, stopped her vehicle on state Route 7 to make a left hand turn onto NE 201 Road when a vehicle driven by Alexander L. Jones, 18, of Clinton, struck her vehicle in the rear, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Stansberry was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with moderate injuries. Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Four injured in Pettis County collision

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.

Ryan C. Toombs, 25, of Lebanon, was driving west on U.S. Highway 50 when Phyllis K. Snead, 74, of Sedalia, pulled her vehicle into the path of Toombs’ at state Route M, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Snead and a passenger in her vehicle, Jamie L. Wendel, 46, of Sedalia, were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Toombs and a passenger in his vehicle, Cooper R. Hudson, 14, of Lebanon, were treated for minor injuries and released at the scene of the accident.

Reports indicate all occupants were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
