Man arrested after Pettis crash
A Green Ridge man was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident after three people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cole W. Ebeling, 22, was driving east on Buckley Road, three miles east of La Monte, when his vehicle hit a patch of ice and it began sliding in the ditch, where it overturned.
Two passengers in his vehicle, Cherri L. Apel, 20, of Sedalia, and Aubree M. Confolder, 19, of Sedalia, were both taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Another passenger, Gabrielle E. Wilson, 19, of Sweet Springs, was also taken by private vehicle to Bothwell with moderate injuries.
Reports indicate none of the occupants were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Ebeling was also arrested on charges of careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, no valid operator’s license, failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying license plates of another vehicle and no seat belt.
Man arrested for DWI in Moniteau
A California, Missouri, man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 12:16 a.m. Sunday in Moniteau County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christopher W. Winter, 31, was driving south on Flagspring Road, four-tenths of a mile north of Walking Horse Road, when his vehicle began sliding, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree before coming to rest in the road.
Winter, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City with moderate injuries.
Winter was also arrested on charges of careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, no insurance and no seat belt.
Columbia man arrested for DWI
A Columbia man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dalton R. Ehrman, 19, was driving north on state Route 13 at 1250 Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.
Ehrman sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
He was also arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, minor visibly intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a crash.
