Three people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4:40 p.m. Monday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Alma F. Deitas, 44, of Knob Noster, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50, just west of Chevalier Road, when her truck began to skid. It overturned across the center of the road, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.

Deitas was taken by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Two passengers in her vehicle, Julian Deitas, 30, of Knob Noster, and Metelina Enery, 45, of La Monte, were both taken by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center with serious injuries.

Reports indicate all three occupants were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
