Sedalia teen injured in crash
A Sedalia teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Monday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jerod R. Rosenbarker, 16, was driving west on Sacajawea Road at Palmer Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing his vehicle to travel off the right side of the road. His vehicle then struck a utility pole and overturned.
Rosenbarker, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson
A Warrensburg man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cecil Henry, 69, was driving south on Business 13 at SE 240 Road when he slowed to make a left turn. Another southbound vehicle, driven by Michael S. Cunningham, 53, of Garden City, failed to yield and overtook Henry’s vehicle.
Henry was taken by private vehicle to an unknown medical facility with minor injuries.
Reports indicate both Henry and Cunningham were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
