Sedalia woman injured in Saline
A Sedalia woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:43 p.m. Thursday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Shyanne R. Sellers, 22, was driving south on state Route N as another vehicle driven by Ronald G. Armstrong, 58, of Springfield was traveling south on U.S. Highway 65. Sellers failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of Armstrong’s vehicle.
Sellers was taken by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for her injuries. A passenger in her vehicle, Alvin J. Hensley, 26, of Marshall, sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.
Reports indicate Armstrong was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, but Hensley and Sellers were not.
Brunswick man hurt in wreck
A Brunswick man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10:58 a.m. Thursday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Keith A. Leimkuehler, 57, was driving north on state Route 41, just north of 250th Street, when his semi-truck traveled off the right side of the road to avoid a stalled vehicle in the lane and struck a culvert. His vehicle returned to the road before traveling off the left side of the road and came to rest in a field.
Leimkuehler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
