KCK man arrested for DWI

A Kansas City, Kansas, man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 11:20 p.m. Friday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Demetreous Casiano, 32, was driving south on state Route 13, north of SW 1100 Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, then through a fence and creek bed before overturning and striking a tree.

Casiano, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Life Flight air ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital with moderate injuries.

Marshall man hurt in Saline

A Marshall man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Adam L. Hall, 31, was driving south on U.S. Highway 65, one-tenth of a mile south of 240th Road, when his motorcycle had a mechanical failure and traveled off the road. His vehicle overturned and Hall was pinned under the vehicle.

Hall, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
