A Sedalia man has been arrested a second time in a week after another search warrant was served at his residence Friday.
According to a Pettis County Sheriff’s Office news release, deputies served a second search warrant Friday at Bob’s Plumbing, 809 S. Marshall Ave., as well as an adjacent storage building, located at 807 S. Marshall Ave.
During the search of the property, Roger Wayne Green Sr., 37, of the 800 block of South Marshall Avenue, was arrested. He was found to be in the act of altering property that was later confirmed stolen. Recovered from the property included several tools, a snow plow, vehicle salt spreader attachment and a disassembled Ford F250, which was later found to have been recently stolen out of Benton County.
Green was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of charges, as well as revocation of his bond stemming from his Feb. 16 arrest for similar charges. He has since been formally charged with receiving stolen property. He was issued a $10,000 bond, cash or surety. The surety bond was posted Monday by Shannon Zerilli Bonding.
An arraignment took place at 9 a.m. Tuesday and a hearing has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 22.
Green was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 16 after a search warrant was served that morning at Bob’s Plumbing in connection with an ongoing burglary investigation. Items seized from the business included firearms, marijuana, several grams of methamphetamine, jewelry, coins and stamps.
After his first arrest, Green was charged with second degree burglary, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. He was issued a $15,000 bond, cash or surety. The surety bond was posted Thursday by Shannon Zerilli Bonding.
Three other subjects were each arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Online court records do not list an attorney for Green.
