Army Field Band to perform

The United States Army Field Band, from Washington, D.C., will give a free performance at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 at Smith-Cotton High School Heckart Performing Arts Center. For more information, call 530-0148.

Daum Museum Exhibits

The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art on the campus of State Fair Community College is hosting exhibits Christopher Russell, “After the Golden Age,” “Wedged In,” works of clay by SFCC art instructors, and “Recent American Ceramics” from the Dr. Harold F. Daum Collection. The Daum Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and is closed Monday. Admission is free.

LCAA Oscar’s Night on Saturday

Liberty Center Association for the Arts is hosting Oscars Night (the night before the Oscars) at 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be a red carpet photo booth and they will show the Oscar nominated film shorts in the live and animated categories. Admission is $10.

Social Painting Classes

The Painting Parlor, 314 S. Ohio Ave., will host social painting classes from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Private parties available by appointment. To make reservations visit www.paintingparlor.com.

SFCC Theatre: “Laughter on the 23rd Floor”

State Fair Community College Theatre Arts students will present the comedy “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Stauffacher Theatre. Dinner theater begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday and a 2 p.m. matineé will be hosted Sunday. For more information, call 596-7387 from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
