Knob Noster man killed

A Knob Noster man was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 7 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Richard N. Gallagher, 25, of Warrensburg, was driving north on state Route 23 at state Route E when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

A passenger in his vehicle, Tyler M. Lockhart, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Johnson County coroner.

Gallagher was taken by air EMS to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.

Reports indicate both Gallagher and Lockhart were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Holden man hurt in Johnson

A Holden man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robert L. Caswell, 74, was driving east on state Route 58 at state Route F when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned in a field.

Caswell, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Lee’s Summit Medical Center for his injuries.

Warrensburg woman injured

A Warrensburg woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7 a.m. Wednesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bryenna L. Brooks, 27, of Warrensburg, was driving east on state Route Dd at state Route 23 when her vehicle struck the rear of another eastbound vehicle driven by Clarissa R. Pruismann, 32.

Pruismann was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Reports indicate both Brooks and Pruismann were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
