This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests


June 6


4:38 p.m.: Michael D. Burgess, 21, of the 1600 block of East Fourth Street, was arrested at North Engineer Avenue and Howard Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


7:11 p.m.: Danielle R. Wells, 24, of the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested at West 32nd Street and South Grand Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


8:40 p.m.: Joseph M. Cordray, 28, of the 600 block of Missouri Street, was arrested at South Ingram Avenue and East 15th Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


June 7


1:50 a.m.: Wayne A. Gravitt, 18, of the 800 block of North Moniteau Avenue, was arrested in the 1800 block of South Sneed Avenue on charges of first degree burglary, second degree domestic assault, escaping custody, and third degree assault on a law officer.


6:37 a.m.: Jericho L. Reinke, 22, of Warsaw, was arrested in the 600 block of East 14th Street on charges of second degree assault and second degree property damage.

June 6


8:21 p.m.: A turquoise ring, valued at $150, was stolen from a residence in the 1300 block of East Third Street.


8:41 p.m.: A disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West 11th Street.


9:21 p.m.: A license plate was found at West Third Street and South Limit Avenue.


June 7


9:09 a.m.: Items valued at $340 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of East Broadway Boulevard.


11:41 a.m.: An air conditioner window unit, valued at $300, was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts Avenue.


11:59 a.m.: Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of East 10th Street.


12:21 p.m.: Items valued at $130 were stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of East 14th Street.


7:40 p.m.: A home was broken into and the door was damaged in the 300 block of East Saline Street.


10:09 p.m.: A clutch purse was found near businesses in the 2900 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

June 6


2:06 p.m.: A Holly four-barrel carburetor was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.


5:57 p.m.: Enticement of a minor by the Internet was reported in the 300 block of Clay Street.

Arrests


June 7


1:41 a.m.: Rickey D. Rank, 55, of Lincoln, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.


5:35 p.m.: James M. Jackson, 28, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County on charges of following too closely, no valid driver’s license and no insurance.


9:28 p.m.: Ruth A. Rennewanz, 57, of Concordia, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and failure to drive on the right side of the road.


11:41 p.m.: Michael W. Durrill, 55, of Green Ridge, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.


June 8


1:42 a.m.: Andre L. Ward, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving with a revoked license, speeding and no seat belt.


2:30 a.m.: Robert A. VanDeventer, 64, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
