AT&T’s corporate retail store in Sedalia has started a food drive to help collect food donations for local families in need.
The store will take donations throughout the summer, and provide those donations to Open Door, a local nonprofit food bank. Barrels are located around the store to collect canned goods, dry goods and other non-perishable items.
“AT&T is here to support the community, both by helping people use technology to connect to all of the things that are important in their lives, and in encouraging charitable acts,” said Dustin Perry, manager of the Sedalia AT&T store. “We always strive to be leaders in every community where we do business, and this food drive is just one way we can show our gratitude to the community that supports us.”
Food donations can be dropped off at any time during regular store hours. The store hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday , 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The store is located at 3185 W. Broadway Blvd.
