CHV Certified Public Accountants announces Denny Hoskins, CPA, has joined Cochran Head Vick/Moore Horton Carlson (CHV/MHC) at its Sedalia and Marshall CPA offices. Hoskins joins the management team with the firm’s longtime office Partner, Larry Horton. Hoskins is a principal at the firm and part of the firm’s management team.

“We are excited to have Denny as part of the management team,” Horton said. “His 17-plus years of experience in accounting is a tremendous asset to our firm, clients and the community. I look forward to working with him and continuing to grow our practice.”

Prior to joining the firm as a principal, Hoskins worked for other CPA firms including Deloitte and as a partner at Taylor, Hoskins & Shaw, CPA’s in Warrensburg. Hoskins also serves as the state representative for the 54th District, which covers parts of Pettis and Johnson counties. His strong commitment to helping Missouri’s small business owners and farmers is evident as a past recipient of NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business Award, Missouri Farm Bureau’s Friend of Agriculture Award and the Missouri Chamber of Commerce’s Spirit of Enterprise Award.

“West Central Missouri is a great place to live and work,” Hoskins said. “The opportunity to continue to work with clients in rural Missouri and be part of the management team with Larry are definitely the two key factors in my decision to join the firm. I look forward to meeting more people in the community. It’s an exciting time for me and my family.”
