This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

March 22

5:43 p.m.: Michael Maurice Bunting, 33, of the 700 block of Wilkerson Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Seventh Street and South Massachusetts Avenue on charges of disobeying a stop sign and driving with a suspended license.

9:04 pm.: Justin Travis Perry, 25, of the 2500 block of Bristol Lane, was arrested near the intersection of East Sixth Street and South Wagner Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Officers received information about drug activity within an apartment building in the 300 block of West Seventh Street. Upon arrival, the odor of marijuana was detected, and contact was made with three subjects. An investigation inside the apartment revealed a female subject was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Leslie E. Dugent, 42, of the residence, was issued a municipal court summons for possession of marijuana.

5:31 p.m.: Property damage was reported in the 27000 block of state Route U in Sedalia.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

March 22

11:08 p.m.: Jason M. Runyan, 39, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, lane violation, speeding and no valid license plates.

11:20 p.m.: James S. Wollery, 41, of Windsor, was arrested in Moniteau County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

March 23

9:26 a.m.: Steven Sei, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of no insurance, no seat belt, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and speeding.
