July 1 Police Reports

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

June 29

1:22 p.m.: Joshua R. Phillips, 21, of the 400 block of East Boonville Road, was arrested at his residence on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.


June 29

11:26 a.m.: Sensitive computer data was reported stolen from a business in the 1700 block of West 32nd Street.

4:08 p.m.: A firearm, valued at $469.50, was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of South Vermont Avenue. The victim said he believed the vehicle’s windows had been left down.

8:36 p.m.: A white male subject reportedly placed items in his pocket and tried to leave the business without paying in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Management made contact with the suspect at the front door, where he returned one item, valued at $1.94, then fled the area. Management said they believe he had taken other items.

10:19 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported involving a vehicle parked on the street in front of a residence in the 700 block of East 24th Street.

June 30

11:35 a.m.: Corina M. Combs, 23, of Wheatland, was arrested in Henry County on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
