April 20 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

April 17

10:12 p.m.: Sharon I. Urban, 53, of St. Peters, was arrested in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

April 18

4:34 p.m.: Harold Anthony Geer, 31, of the 300 block of Buckner Court, was arrested at his residence on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit device. A victim reported a $33.77 charge on her account she did not authorize. She contacted the business who processed the sale and delivered items to a residence. The driver was able to identify the person he delivered items to.

8:15 p.m.: John Paul David Sullivan, 27, of the 700 block of McVey Road, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of East 11th Street and South Ingram Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia.. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel and expired registration. The occupants consented to a search of the vehicle and drug paraphernalia was found belonging to the passenger.

Incidents

April 18

2:16 p.m.: An officer assisted the Department of Family Services at Smith-Cotton Junior High on East Broadway Boulevard in investigating a report of child abuse.

April 19

2:21 a.m.: A male victim reported he was assaulted by his son before he ran out of the residence in the 1900 block of South Stewart Avenue. The victim had apparent injuries to his face and wrists.

2:13 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South State Fair Boulevard. A vehicle reportedly side-swiped a 2000 Toyota, causing minor damage.

April 18

6:22 p.m.: Alina D. Moseley, 61, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

April 19

11:12 a.m.: Joseph R. Martin, 31, of Centertown, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving with a revoked license and no seat belt.
