April 27 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

April 25

2:20 p.m.: Justin Lee Smith, 30, of the 1200 block of South Prospect Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of South Limit Avenue and West Seventh Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

9 p.m.: William L. Register, 26, of the 1000 block of East Ninth Street, was issued a municipal court summons at his residence for burning without a permit. The suspect had a large uncontained fire in the backyard.

11:56 p.m.: Roger W. Green, 38, of the 800 block of Marshall Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Emmet Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

April 26

12:21 a.m.: Travis Dewayne Christian, 33, of the 1400 block of East 13th Street, was arrested near the intersection of South Engineer Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

April 25

8:25 a.m.: Eggs and fruit were reportedly thrown at the exterior wall of the Crown Hill Cemetery maintenance building in the 100 block of East Tower Street.

1:46 p.m.: Subject who had been renting a residence in the 600 block of East 11th Street stole the gas stove, valued at $500, when moving out.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

April 25

2:44 p.m.: Kevin T. Bushbeck, 22, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of more than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:44 p.m.: Bryan S. McTavish, 51, of Fair Play, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
