This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

May 6

9 p.m.: Alex Biehl, 22, was arrested in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

May 7

3:09 a.m.: Brandon Lee Martin, 26, of the 300 block of West Fourth Street in Sedalia, was arrested in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing by shoplifting.

9:05 p.m.: Tracie L. Karigan, 39, of the 4200 block of West Main Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Moniteau Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

11:06 p.m.: Chalise Marie Denison, 29, of the 1400 block of South Stewart Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Sneed Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

May 8

2:07 a.m.: Jason F. Figge, 35, of Green Ridge, was arrested in the 2500 block of West 32nd Street on a charge of violation of an order of protection.

Incidents

May 7

11:01 a.m.: A report of theft by stealing of a license plate was taken in the 3000 block of Clinton Road in Sedalia.

5:51 p.m.: A report of an assault in the 300 block of East Broadway was taken. The victim reported that he was punched in the face by the suspect. The suspect was not found.

May 7

10:37 p.m.: Charles Andrew Dunham, age unknown, of Smithton, was arrested in the 300 block of East Boonville Road in Sedalia after a short vehicle pursuit on charges of resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by officers from the Sedalia Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

May 6

8:26 p.m.: Christopher Purdy, 21, of Independence, was arrested in Clay County on felony possession of methamphetamine, no insurance, failure to display valid license plates and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

May 7

1:20 a.m.: Timothy J. Preswheat, 55, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated as an aggravated offender, no valid license, and failure to signal.

1:27 a.m.: Jamie S. Willis, 40, of Marshall, was arrested in Saline County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on right half of roadway and failure to comply with driver license restriction.

1:59 a.m.: Samantha N. Rynders, 21, of Dardenne Prairie, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

1:59 a.m.: Michael B. Marvel, 35, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, and speeding driving over 26 mph above the speed limit.

3:25 a.m.: Ashlie E. Stewart, 30, of Kansas City, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding (86 mph in a 55 mph zone), driving on an expired license, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:15 p.m.: Billy J. Boyd, of Preston, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, driving while license revoked, no seat belt, consuming alcohol while vehicle in motion of a highway, possession of marijuana under 35 grams and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

May 8

12:21 a.m.: Ronny E. Reed, 32, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

1:05 a.m.: John M. Brandkamp, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and no insurance.

3:08 a.m.: Santillan Octavio Fuentes, 33, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and no driver license.
