May 7-8 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 2

1:29 a.m.: Patrick Scott Radu, 37, of the 200 block of Dundee Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of South Limit Avenue and West Fifth Street on charges of felony possession of marijuana, distributing marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle speeding with expired license plates. Investigation revealed the subject was in possession of a controlled substance.

1:55 a.m.: Moises Romero-Rubio, 32, of the 1400 block of South Harrison Avenue, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended/revoked license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle weaving on the roadway. It was determined the driver was intoxicated. During a search, methamphetamine was found in the suspect’s wallet and a pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.

2:16 a.m.: Christina Ann Wilken, 31, of the 1000 block of Douglas Lane, was arrested in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of distribution of synthetic narcotics and two counts of possession of synthetic narcotics. An officer conducted a subject check on a subject who had just left the area of Broadway Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue from what was believed to be a drug transaction. The officer searched the vehicle after consent was given and methamphetamine and illegal prescription pills were located.

May 4

10:10 a.m.: Wayne Thomas Lion, 34, of the 500 block of West Fourth Street, was arrested in the 4400 block of Wisconsin Avenue on charges of second degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, first degree trespassing, first degree property damage, stealing and resisting arrest. A complainant observed a white male and female taking items out of a storage unit and placing them into another unit. The complainant saw them in the area a few days ago and told them to leave and knew they were not supposed to be there. The complainant approached the subjects and they took off running. Officers arrested Lion on scene. The female subject has been identified.

10:08 p.m.: Allen L. Redick, 45, of the 400 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested at his residence on charges of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and identity theft. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed one subject was in possession of meth.

May 6

12:18 a.m.: Deitric C. Wren, 29, of Knob Noster, was arrested near the intersection of West Main Street and South State Fair Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

May 4

9:14 a.m.: A subject reportedly damaged and stole an estimated $800 worth of unspecified property from a residence in the 1000 block of West Third Street. There were no signs of forced entry.

10:09 a.m.: $2,000 worth of sunglasses were reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue.

May 5

7:49 a.m.: The back window of two E150 vans owned by Open Door were reported broken out by rocks. Each window was valued at $150.

1:29 p.m.: A 6-year-old had bruising on their ear, back and shoulder area after allegedly being abused at their residence in the 300 block of Buckner Court. There is one suspect.

5 p.m.: A large black Chevrolet pickup backed up and struck a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse at a business in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard and left the area.

Arrests

May 4

7:15 p.m.: Kenny L. Shier, 41, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, child endangerment, speeding and no seat belt.

7:39 p.m.: Chad J. Supernault, 31, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on charges of resisting arrest, providing false information, driving with a revoked license and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

May 5

9:24 p.m.: Jeana R. Coram, 42, of Wooldridge, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

10:49 p.m.: Brian J. Friend, 28, of Odessa, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
