This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 11

10:46 a.m.: Shannon Rene Spruell, 33, of the 400 block of East Howard Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West Fifth Street and South Moniteau Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

7:11 p.m.: Kirk Alexander Riley, 34, of the 1800 block of South Sneed Avenue, was arrested at his residence on charges of third degree domestic assault, third degree assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival they found out a male subject had assaulted two female subjects and was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incidents

May 11

8:20 a.m.: A van owned by a church reportedly had graffiti on it in the 200 block of East Sixth Street. Other vehicles in the area reportedly appeared to have the same damage and may have been the same colored paint.

11:41 a.m.: $450 worth of parts were stolen from vehicles in an auto business’ lot in the 2100 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

Arrests

May 11

11:40 p.m.: Amanda N. Brown, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash.
