This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 13

9:11 a.m.: Andrew T. Jones, 38, of the 23200 block of Gottschalk Road in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 13th Street and South Ingram Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

4:32 p.m.: Cassandra G. Sutton, 24, of the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Third Street and South Osage Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

9:35 p.m.: Christy C. Wark, 36, address unknown, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and Thompson Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

May 14

1:05 a.m.: Erik P. Ost, 24, of the 100 block of Moniteau Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 900 block of South Thompson Avenue on a charge of trespassing and taken into protective custody due to being intoxicated. The report said a resident reported that Ost was standing on the porch of a residence and was looking into its bedroom window.

2:36 a.m.: Ryan C. Bird, 32, of the 900 block of South Barrett Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South State Fair Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated. According to the report, police initiated a traffic stop on Bird when they observed him driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of West Broadway Avenue.

10: 38 a.m.: Brock Adam Simon, 34, of the 1800 block of South Kentucky Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 600 block of South Ohio Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, possession of synthetic narcotics and delivery/possession/depositing a concealed substance into the jail.

May 15

1:41 a.m.: Alfredo Carlos, 18, of the 1000 block of East Seventh Street was arrested in the 1000 block of East Seventh Street on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol.

Incidents

May 14

6:30 p.m. A rape was reported by the victim in the 1200 block of South Ohio Avenue. The victim said the incident occurred 30 days prior.

8:49 p.m.: A report of harassment via social media was made by the victim in the 100 block of East 11th Street.

May 14

12:26 a.m.: Moran T. Perry, 27, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

2:13 a.m.: Emily A. Almai, 26, of Olathe, Kansas, was arrested in Clay County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

2:15 a.m.: Michael J. Buhman, 24, of Cark, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

2:50 a.m.: Vernell K. Waxter, 32, of Riverside, was arrested in Clay County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3:02 a.m.: Frank J. Defeo, 34, of Platte Woods was arrested in Clay County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3;08 a.m.: Austin C. Watson, 22, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of felony use of a weapon, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and no valid license.

3:12 a.m.: Sabrina M. Barklage, 22, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, excessive speed and no insurance.

3: 48 a.m.: Nicholas P. Cervantes, 33, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor child endangerment.

4 a.m.: Katelyn R. Smith, 21, of Lee’s Summit, was arrested in Clay County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

4:56 a.m.: Kimber A. Lagore, 18, of Waverly, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
