Sedalia Police Department
9:27 p.m.: Enrique D. Mitchell, 25, of the 300 block of West Sixth Street, was issued a municipal court summons in the 1100 block of South Osage Avenue for possession of marijuana. A traffic stop was conducted for failure to signal and parking on the wrong side of the road. The officer made contact with the occupants and detected an odor of marijuana. A search revealed a small amount of marijuana and the driver was issued a summons.
1:01 a.m.: Amber L. Clapham, 27, of the 800 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Warren Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license and failure to properly display/affix license plates.
3:01 a.m.: Karrie L. Wentz, 36, no address given, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Grand Avenue on a charge of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Joseph A. Markes, 31, no address given, was arrested on a charge of second degree tampering with the property of another. An officer observed a vehicle and it appeared the silent alarm was going off as the lights were flashing and items had been thrown from the driver’s side door across the road. The officer made contact with the occupants and through dispatch it was confirmed the female subject had a local Failure to Appear warrant and that the vehicle was reported stolen through the Quincy, Illinois, Police Department.
11:08 a.m.: Ronald Junior Duncan, 35, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Road, was arrested in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
3:02 p.m.: An EBT card was reported stolen and was used to purchase $301 worth of merchandise at a business in the 1700 block of East Broadway Boulevard.
8:22 a.m.: Three victims in the 800 block of East Sixth Street reported their vehicles had red spray paint down the sides.
