This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 26

2:42 p.m.: Greory A. Bierschbach, 39, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of East 10th Street and South Marvin Avenue for possession of marijuana. An officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that disobeyed a stop sign and discovered the passenger was in possession of marijuana.

May 27

1:25 a.m.: Sean S. Blake, age unknown, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 1800 block of Osage Avenue on a charge of public peace disturbance.

2:33 a.m.: Alexander R. Logan, 18, of the 4200 block of West Main Street in Sedalia, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:49 a.m.: Juan B. Pascal, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Johnson Street and South Quincy Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant.

7:25 p.m.: Tabatha Lynn Crawford, 35, of the 600 block of East 16th Street, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway and South Ohio Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to register a vehicle annually with the Department of Revenue.

May 28

3:50 a.m.: Kevin Leath Isenberg, 22, of the 300 block of North Prospect Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested in the 300 block of North Prospect Avenue on a charge of violation of an order of protection.

10:59 a.m.: Melissa Marie Cornwell, 29, of the 4200 block of West Main Street in Sedalia, was arrested in the 500 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

7:43 p.m.: Melody J. Thomberg, 55, of Raymore, was issued a summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of shoplifting.

Incidents

May 24

4:59 p.m.: A report of theft by stealing was taken from a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard after a suspect was reported to fill up a gas tank with 14 gallons of gas and flee the scene.

12:04 p.m.: Officers responded to an assault in progress in the 800 block of East Fifth Street. The victim said a white male subject spit in another male’s face and attempted to throw punches and kick the victim. The suspect was seen running from the area by witnesses. The victim said the suspect allegedly cut the brake lines on his vehicle before calling the victim outside to fight; there are no witnesses to this part of the incident. The suspect has not been located. Charges of second degree assault and second degree property damage are being sought against the suspect.

May 27

10:55 a.m.: A report of theft of a license plate from a trailer was taken in the 1700 block of East Fourth Street.

4:59 p.m.: a report of domestic violence in the 2300 block of Dennis Road after a woman reported that she didn’t remember anything that occurred from May 21-23. When the woman awoke May 23, she was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center and life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia. She reported that she was poisoned by her boyfriend.

May 28

10:27 p.m.: A report of destruction of property by repeatedly throwing nails in a parking lot was taken in the 600 block of East 14th Street.

Arrests

May 26

11:48 a.m.: Heather M. Ingram, 39, of Holden, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of tampering, driving with a revoked license, no seat belt and failure to display plates.

2:29 p.m.: Glenn T. Grant, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, no insurance and no seat belt.

May 27

3:45 p.m.: Lamberto Alejo-Diaz, 26. of Sedalia was arrested in Pettis County on charges of felony identity theft, driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on right half of roadway, no valid license and no seat belt.

8:45 p.m.: Scotty E. Welch, 43, of Richmond, was arrested in Henry County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, a lane violation and failure to comply with a court order.

May 28

1:05 a.m.: Kyra N. Kribbs, 32, of Huntsville, was arrested in Saline County on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation.

1:44 a.m.: Cameron D. Fry, 19, of El Cajon, California, was arrested in Johnson County of charges of driving while intoxicated and minor in possession of alcohol.

7:58 p.m.: Maria D. Lowe, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of felony warrants out of Benton and Taney Counties, leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a revoked license.

May 29

12:06 a.m.: Lester D. Beaty, 79, of Warsaw was arrested in Benton County on a charge of felony driving while intoxicated.

1:28 a.m.: Dillon M. Zdybel, 19, of Slater, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash and no seat belt.

2:10 p.m.: Jayden J. Harvey, 20, was arrested in Henry County on charges of speeding, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, careless and imprudent driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and no seat belt.
