This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Incidents

June 23

2:28 a.m.: Alexander Stephen Admire, 20, of the 30000 block of Ball Road, was arrested near the intersection of South Barrett Avenue and West 16th Street on charges of driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. A traffic stop was conducted for no working license plate lights. While the officer was speaking with the driver, the officer reported he could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. He had the driver perform field sobriety tests; the subject did “poorly.” The subject provided a breath sample once at SPD, which was higher than the .08 legal limit.

12:43 p.m.: Rockney R. Turley, 43, of La Monte, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Grand Avenue for driving with a suspended license.

1:11 p.m.: David T. Boggs Jr., 31, no address given, was arrested near the intersection of Buckner Court and Saline Street on a charge of resisting arrest and for an outstanding warrant. An officer conducted a warrant check when the subject fled on foot toward Veterans Memorial Drive. The officer pursued the subject on foot and arrested him.

4:33 p.m.: Sarah M. Danner, 30, of Versailles, was issued a municipal court summons in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for stealing. The suspect allegedly stole clothing items from a business valued at $41.70.

10:56 p.m.: Sean Sebastian Burke, 44, no address given, was arrested in the 300 block of East 17th Street on charges of second degree assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and open alcohol container. An officer responded to a report of a disturbance. He made contact with the subject, who was holding an open container of alcohol. The officer instructed the subject he was under arrest and the subject attempted to flee. After a short pursuit on foot, the subject was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. Once at the jail, the subject refused to exit the patrol car and then assaulted the officer by kicking the patrol car door.

June 24

9:09 p.m.: Christy L. Monteer, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East Sixth Street and South Engineer Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Natalie M. Wingerter, 29, of the 500 block of East 10th Street, was arrested on a charge of possession of synthetic narcotics. A traffic stop was conducted for disobeying a stop sign. An investigation resulted in the deployment of a K9 Unit, which alerted to the vehicle. A search resulted in methamphetamine and controlled prescription pills.

June 24

11:59 a.m.: An officer responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center regarding a sexual assault. A female victim reported she was sexually assaulted in the 400 block of North Mill Street by a subject known to her.

June 24

9:04 p.m.: Dennis W. Stone, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident.

June 25

1:45 p.m.: Joseph T. Greco, 22, of Overland Park, Kansas, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of boating while intoxicated and allowing another person to ride on vessel’s gunwale.

June 26

1:49 a.m.: Matthew P. Bishop, 31, of California, Missouri, was arrested in Moniteau County on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

10:55 a.m.: Brooke L. Kabler, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt.
