This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
1:44 a.m.: Kyle Nicholas Richards, 31, of the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue, was arrested in the 1200 block of South Prospect Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a vehicle accident. An officer responded to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle accident. A suspect and suspect vehicle were identified through talking with the victim and witnesses.
7:07 p.m.: Melissa A. Duke, 51, no address given, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Massachusetts Avenue on charges of stealing and possession of a controlled substance. An officer reported to a report of a subject walking in the roadway. Once the officer made contact, she gave consent to a search of her personal belongings. A Schedule 4 controlled substance was located inside her belongings.
7:08 p.m.: Leovigildo Marcoslazaro, 34, of the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Osage Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
8:48 p.m.: Gary Charlie Brown Sr., 58, of the 1100 block of East Seventh Street, was arrested in the 600 block of East 14th Street on a charge of first degree trespassing. An officer responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a disturbance where a subject was refusing to leave the hospital.
11:50 p.m.: Leslie R. Houston, 32, of the 2900 block of South Ingram Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Madison Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated. A witness reported seeing a vehicle drive erratically and speeding. The vehicle was stopped by a Pettis County Sheriff’s Office deputy. An SPD officer arrived to assist. It was discovered she gave false information. The deputy arrested Houston on charges of identity theft and driving with a revoked license.
11:59 p.m.: Francisco Quezecua Alejo, 27, of the 1200 block of State Fair Boulevard, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Thompson Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and second degree assault. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle accident with injuries. It was determined one of the two drivers was intoxicated. The driver of the second vehicle was taken by a family member to Bothwell Regional Health Center for head injuries.
2:59 a.m.: Timothy Lee Davis, 39, no address given, was arrested near the intersection of East Ninth Street and South Montgomery Avenue on charges of bicycle violation and resisting arrest. An officer conducted a subject check for a minor ordinance violation. The suspect ran on foot as the officer approached him. The suspect was located and arrested.
7:54 a.m.: Lachelle Rene Flores, 33, of the 2700 block of Griessen Road, was arrested in the 3100 block of South Limit Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to register annually with the Department of Revenue.
10:30 p.m.: Someone reportedly forced open a window in a storage shed in the 700 block of East 17th Street and stole tools and electronics, valued at $485.
12:53 a.m.: A victim reported being awoken by a noise in their residence in the 2100 block of South Washington Avenue to find a suspect fleeing their residence headed westbound. Nothing was reported stolen. The suspect was not found.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
12:44 a.m.: Steven D. Culbertson, of Kansas City, was arrested in the 17000 block of Jackson Road in La Monte on a charge of first degree trespassing. The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in the arrest.

4:05 p.m.: Brian M. Peacher, 39, of Columbia, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of speeding and driving with a revoked license.
11:51 p.m.: Juan R. Ubaldo, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, no seat belt, no turn signal and no valid license.
