July 21 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 18

9 a.m.: Walter Jay Combes, 55, of the 700 block of East 16th Street, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and South Barrett Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

July 19

1:36 a.m.: Sydney Sierra Long, 19, of the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court, was issued a municipal court summons at her residence for destruction of non-city property. A male victim reported the subject broke a mirror in his vehicle, dumped food on the seats and wrapped the seats in fishing wire.

9:56 a.m.: Timothy Lee Davis, 39, no address given, was arrested in the 700 block of East 15th Street on a charge of first degree trespassing. A female victim reported the suspect would not leave her property. An officer gave the suspect a trespass warning and told him not to come back. The suspect said he understood and left. He came back five minutes later to get a lighter and was arrested.

9:56 a.m.: Timothy L. Davis, 39, no address given, was arrested in the 600 block of East 15th Street on charges of first degree trespassing and stealing. A couple reported someone stole vegetables and vehicle parts, valued at $90, from their residence.

6:30 p.m.: Zachary Joe Fox, 21, no address given, was arrested in the 1000 block of West 11th Street on a charge of first degree trespassing. The suspect was asked to leave the residence and refused. He was sitting behind the residence when an officer arrived.

July 20

1:15 a.m.: Benjamin Wyatt Young, 39, of the 1300 block of West 32nd Street, was issued a municipal court summons in the 1000 block of West 11th Street for possession of marijuana. A traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle with no working brake lights. During the investigation, marijuana was found.

1:17 a.m.: Misty D. Flores, 36, of the 2800 block of South Ingram Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of South Washington Avenue and East 26th Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

July 18

9:45 a.m.: Spray-painted graffiti was reported on the side of a business in the 600 block of North Ohio Avenue, costing an estimated $200 to fix.

11:05 a.m.: A gun pawned in the 100 block of West Main Street was reported stolen out of Cooper County.

1:20 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in a business parking lot in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

July 19

8:34 a.m.: Two 12-inch kicker comp speakers, a 1600-watt ssl lamp and a Kenwood head unit, combined value of $500, were reported stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 200 block of Thompson Boulevard. The business is attempting to obtain video footage of the incident.

July 20

1:29 p.m.: A woman reported a man was at her residence in the 900 block of East Sixth Street and while there at some point he showed his penis to her minor daughter and another juvenile.

Arrests

July 18

4:40 p.m.: Dennis J. Miller, 40, of Centertown, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

5:05 p.m.: Dennis L. Callahan, 54, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, lane violation and no seat belt.
