This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
3:59 p.m.: Marvin Anthony Smith, 33, of the 400 block of North Mill Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of second degree assault after officers responded to a disturbance.
7:31 p.m.: Alisha Lynn Gaines, 25, no address given, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of resisting arrest. An officer responded to a disturbance between a male and female at a business. When the officer arrived, the female fled. She was apprehended without incident after a short foot pursuit.
1:34 a.m.: Gary D. Prisendorf, 46, of the 1700 block of West 18th Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault. An officer responded to a disturbance involving a father and son. It was determined the father was the primary aggressor in the altercation.
7:22 p.m.: Michael David Rackham, 37, of the 600 block of South Missouri Ramp, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a revoked license.
2:49 p.m.: Pashion D. Williams, 20, of the 400 block of Buckner Court, was arrested at her residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault. Officers responded to a disturbance. The victim returned and the suspect and victim began arguing and making several threats. The suspect then grabbed the victim by the shirt and it appeared an assault was imminent so she was arrested.
11:49 p.m.: Jose Guadalupe Gonzalez-Ayala, 24, of the 4200 block of West Main Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and Stone Creek Drive on a charge of operating a vehicle without a valid license.
10:50 a.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported involving a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 400 block of South Park Avenue.
12:08 p.m.: A suspect stole $325 worth of clothing from a business in the 4300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
4:14 p.m.: A male victim reported he was physically attacked by the mother of his child’s mother in the 400 block of West Fourth Street. There was a large scratch on his chest. An officer was unable to make contact with the suspect. The officer will be requesting a charge of assault.
12:38 p.m.: A rock was reported thrown through an apartment window in the 600 block of South Osage Avenue.
5:06 p.m.: A cell phone was reported stolen from a storage locker at Liberty Park Pool in the 1500 block of West Third Street. The victim tried calling his phone and a male answered, said “Sucks to be you,” and hung up. The phone is described as a black LG with a four-inch touch screen, a black-and-blue case and a Deadpool screen saver.
1:34 p.m.: One hundred and twelve Xanax pills were reported stolen in the 400 block of East Sixth Street. The victim said she believes she knows the suspects.
4:19 p.m.: A HJC black helmet with a black visor was stolen off a motorcycle in the 500 block of South Ohio Avenue.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
9:11 p.m.: Clyde C. Long, 68, of Lebanon, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
12:35 a.m.: Brady E. Porta, 50, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
1:40 a.m.: Garett S. Larson, 24, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
9:08 p.m.: David W. Gregory, 53, of Olathe, Kansas, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of operating a vessel while intoxicated.
11:02 p.m.: Elizabeth A. Milak, 41, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, possessing the license plates of another vehicle and no seat belt.
1:45 a.m.: Daniel Rincon, 42, of Roeland Park, Kansas, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding.
1:56 a.m.: Ledora M. Winters, 41, of Slater, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving with a revoked license and no insurance.
