Sedalia Police Department
8:50 a.m.: Daisy Mae Hoover, 37, of the 1300 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested at her residence on charges of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card. The Sedalia Girls Softball League reported June 17 that between $30,000 and $40,000 had been stolen from the league’s checking account over two years. After an investigation, Hoover was arrested in connection with the theft, which in total was approximately $35,000.
6:08 p.m.: A pole saw, valued at $800, was reported stolen from a truck in the 2500 block of Anderson Avenue.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
6:55 p.m.: Anthony Q. Smith II, of Sedalia, was arrested near Moniteau Avenue and Fourth Street in Sedalia on a charge of driving with a revoked/suspended license and failure to signal.
12:14 a.m.: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of West Main Street in Pettis County.
