July 11-12 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

July 9

2:32 p.m.: Lisa N. Horn, 51, and Kimberly S. Ballenger, 35, both of the 3100 block of Oak Brook Circle, were both arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

July 10

1:58 a.m.: Leslie Ann Jackson, 34, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Missouri Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Incidents

July 9

1:54 p.m.: A female victim reported she believes she was sexually assaulted overnight in the 1800 block of South Osage Avenue by a suspect familiar to her. The victim was taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center to be examined.

5:24 p.m.: Two victims reported they were assaulted at Hubbard Park in the 600 block of North Missouri Avenue on July 5.

Arrests

July 9

2:36 p.m.: Richard L. Tevis, 57, of Holden, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of operating a commercial vehicle with excess blood alcohol content and no seat belt.

July 10

1:55 a.m.: Dereck A. Dugger, 25, of Windsor, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:55 a.m.: Christopher J. Farley, 26, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in an accident.
