This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 8

7:07 a.m.: Caleb Allen Perry, 21, of the 200 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 18th Street and South Beacon Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

July 9

9:38 a.m.: Brandon N. Bom, 23, of the 1200 block of South Prospect Avenue, was issued municipal court summons at his residence for stealing.

July 10

12:04 am.: Juan Quetzecua Marcos, 21, of the 700 block of West Cooper Street, was arrested in the 1100 block of West 16th Street on charges of driving while intoxicated and no insurance.

8:23 a.m.: Bradley Allen Simons, 22, of the 1500 block of Crestview Drive, was arrested near the intersection of East 16th Street and New York Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

7:38 p.m.: Michael Anthony Chamberlain, 46, of the 1000 block of West Third Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

July 11

9:46 a.m.: Pavel Antoshuk, 52, of the 1100 block of East 13th Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of resisting arrest.

July 12

9:17 a.m.: Kimberly R. Porter, 30, of the 1700 block of South Harrison Avenue, was arrested at her residence on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

1:30 p.m.: Christina Lea Warnke, 46, of La Monte, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

4:43 p.m.: James William Dingus Fague, 27, of the 200 block of West Clay Street, was arrested near the intersection of West 18th Street and Missouri Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

July 13

12:49 a.m.: Troy Alvin Bishop, 43, of Smithton, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Marshall Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

8:27 a.m.: Darren A. Morey, 19, of the 500 block of North Osage Avenue, was issued a municipal court summons at his residence for stealing.

Incidents

July 9

9:53 a.m.: A purse, valued at $60, and a work apron were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of Westwood Avenue.

12:43 p.m.: A bicycle was found in the 300 block of East 13th Street.

2:55 p.m.: Identity theft was reported in the 100 block of South State Fair Boulevard.

July 10

9:56 a.m.: Two middle school-aged children and one elementary-aged child were reportedly inside Washington Elementary in the 600 block of South Engineer Avenue at 4:30 a.m. It is unknown if anything was taken or damaged.

10:52 a.m.: A suspect reportedly became “verbally belligerent” and threatened to beat a victim at a business in the 100 block of West Main Street. The suspect became violent after he wanted to trade in speakers at the business, and the victim told him they didn’t work.

11:15 a.m.: A female victim reported a male subject followed her around and threatened her in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

4:30 p.m.: The door to an apartment in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue was reported kicked in, causing damage to the door and wall.

July 11

2:05 a.m.: Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of South Stewart Avenue.

8:39 a.m.: The rear passenger window of a vehicle was reported broken in the 1700 block of South Park Avenue.

11:06 a.m.: A counterfeit $5 bill was reportedly used at a business in the 3200 block of South Limit Avenue.

2:53 p.m.: A 1976 Chevy 4×4 body and frame, a 1976 Chevy bed that had been painted orange, a HD air compressor, a 455 Oldsmobile motor, a cherry picker hoist, and two car polishers and buffers were reported stolen from a locked garage in the 500 block of North Grand Avenue.

3:20 p.m.: A female subject reported she was assaulted by a male subject in the 300 block of West Seventh Street. The male subject stated the female subject had attempted to assault him with a weapon.

4:13 p.m.: A laptop was reported stolen by a known suspect from a residence in the 1400 block of South Carr Avenue.

5:01 p.m.: Multiple unspecified items were reported stolen from a residence in the 700 block of East Third Street.

6:12 p.m.: A victim in the 800 block of East Fourth Street reported someone opened two credit cards in his name without his permission, charging about $20,000.

7:01 p.m.: A wallet containing $8, a Missouri driver’s license and a credit card was reported stolen from a purse while the victim was at Centennial Pool in the 1500 block of East 16th Street.

July 12

10:28 a.m.: A bicycle was found in a ditch on the Katy Trail near the intersection of East 13th Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

11:38 a.m.: $33.97 worth of gas was reported stolen from a business in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard by a driver in a gold SUV.

10:47 p.m.: A TV, valued at $210, was reported stolen from a business in the 3500 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

July 10

9:58 p.m.: After a short pursuit for a traffic violation, Amanda Ann Teiberis was arrested on Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of a controlled substance and distribution, resisting arrest, and child endangerment.

July 11

12:23 a.m.: Melinda Gail David was arrested in the 1400 block of Boonville Road on charges of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle, property damage, first degree trespassing, and resisting arrest.

July 12

1:06 a.m.: William W. Taylor, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Honda Road on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

July 10

2:29 p.m.: A theft was reported from a utility service in the 20000 block of Glenn Road.

July 13

11:27 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 28000 block of Bohon Road.

Arrests

July 10

2:23 p.m.: Kyle A. Penix, 23, of Oak Grove, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

6:58 p.m.: Randy S. Reynolds, 55, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated and no seat belt.

July 11

1:48 a.m.: Samuel A. Wollard, 26, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

2:05 a.m.: Kevin L. Lentz-Butler, 28, of Windsor, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

7:36 p.m.: Jesse A. Jones, 45, of Kansas City, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no helmet.

11:59 p.m.: Consulla M. Smith, 33, of Versailles, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of meth, and possession of morphine.

11:59 p.m.: Jessa B. Porter, 17, and Patrick R. Long, 29, both of Versailles, were both arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of meth and possession of morphine.

July 12

12:07 a.m.: Jasen L. McGee, 22, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
