July 17 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 8

1:15 p.m.: Randy L. Gleason Jr., 34, of Warrensburg, was arrested in the 200 block of West Second Street on a charge of stealing.

July 15

10:32 a.m.: Shahada Lee, 29, of the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

3:04 p.m.: Hakeem S. Dickson, 18, of the 600 block of East 16th Street, was issued a municipal court summons in the 200 block of West Second Street for stealing.

8:02 p.m.: Ian Elliott Edelen, 26, of St. Louis, was arrested in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue on charges of stealing and third degree sexual misconduct.

July 16

6:55 a.m.: Brandon Lee Motley, 22, of the 1300 block of East 13th Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Ninth Street and Ohio Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

July 15

12:55 p.m.: Packages containing medication were reported stolen from a front porch in the 1600 block of West Seventh Street in late June.

2:53 p.m.: A garage was reported spray-painted at a residence in the 1000 block of West Broadway Boulevard. A peace sign and “SAID” were painted on the garage.

10:10 p.m.: A subject refused to leave a business in the 1200 block of East Third Street, and was arrested on a charge of trespassing.

July 16

7:34 a.m.: A vehicle had deep, irregular scratches along the passenger side and tailgate while it was parked in an apartment complex parking lot the 2400 block of Stacy Lane. The victim said he saw similar damage on two other vehicles.

July 16

1:23 a.m.: Deputies responded to the 1300 block of East 40th Street in the county in reference to four subjects breaking into a vehicle. Deputies took three subjects into custody.
