This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 14

9:15 a.m.: Austin R. Blankenship, 18, of the 900 block of East 13th Street, was arrested in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue on a charge of harassment.

July 15

7:26 p.m.: Michelle L. Lemen, 41, of the 1200 block of West 11th Street, was arrested in the 1200 block of West 11th Street on a charge of trespassing.

July 17

2:43 a.m.: Cindy M. Stehmann, 37, of the 1500 block of West Ninth Street, was arrested at her residence on a charge of third degree assault on a law enforcement officer.

Incidents

July 16

12:22 p.m.: $10.10 worth of gas was reported stolen from a business in the 1600 block of East Broadway Boulevard by a white female in a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix.

12:43 p.m.: A female victim reported she was sexually assaulted by two subjects in the 600 block of East 14th Street.

1:26 p.m.: A fence was reported spray-painted in the 800 block of West Fourth Street. Black paint was used to write “ST3.”

1:42 p.m.: A seven-inch Kindle, valued at $200, was reported stolen in the 400 block of East 17th Street.

8:38 p.m.: A victim reported being struck by a subject known to her during a disturbance involving several subjects near the intersection of West Sixth Street and South Vermont Avenue.

Arrests

July 15

4:26 p.m.: Heidi J. Kincaid, 44, of Topeka, Kansas, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, following too closely, speeding, cut in on an overtaken vehicle and no seat belt.

9:59 p.m.: Darrell W. Conwell, 25, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

July 16

9:39 a.m.: Michael G. Dear, 24, of Versailles, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

11:09 a.m.: Edward T. Stroud, 55, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt, registration violation and no insurance.

2:56 p.m.: Daniel W. Bremer, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a vehicle accident.

7:44 p.m.: Tonya N. Kirkman, 29, of Camdenton, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:20 p.m.: Joyce E. Sallach, 67, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of failure to display valid license plates and driving while intoxicated.
