This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

July 19

1:13 a.m.: Brannon M. Clinton, 33, of the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

Incidents

July 17

7:51 p.m.: A Samsung tablet, valued at $500, was reported stolen from a company vehicle in the 300 block of West 10th Street.

July 18

1:30 p.m.: Personal checks and a debit card were reported stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of South Moniteau Avenue. The victim said there were several fraudulent transactions on her bank account.

5:22 p.m.: Officers made contact with a vehicle near the intersection of West 15th Street and South Osage Avenue for a traffic violation. An odor of marijuana was detected in the vehicle, and a search revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

July 19

6:02 a.m.: A Garmin GPS, valued at $250, and loose change, valued at $50, were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of Mitchell Road.

11:54 a.m.: A bag containing personal information and money was reported stolen from a vehicle at a business in the 4000 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

3:34 p.m.: A female victim reported she was sexually assaulted by a suspect familiar to her near the intersection of South Lamine Avenue and East 19th Street.

6:23 p.m.: The front license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of South Sneed Avenue.

6:29 p.m.: A computer and a car stereo, combined value of $831.58, were reported stolen from a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

10:02 p.m.: Registration tabs were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of East Walnut Street.

10:21 p.m.: A victim reported a suspect got out of his vehicle near the intersection of North Moniteau Avenue and West Henry Street and spit on her while she was in her vehicle.

11:46 p.m.: A complainant reported seeing a suspect attempt to steal a tire from a vehicle in a car lot in the 3000 block of Clinton Road. The suspect left running north on Limit Avenue.

July 20

4:48 a.m.: A female victim reported she was sexually assaulted by two suspects known to her at Katy Park in the 2200 block of South Grand Avenue.

Arrests

July 18

1:50 a.m.: Jeremey J. Brown, 29, of Stover, was arrested in Morgan County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3:37 p.m.: Gregory Moore, 59, of Liberty, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, no insurance and drinking alcohol while driving.

5:50 p.m.: Gabriel D. McIndoo, 39, of Centerview, was arrested in Benton County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no seat belt.

7:47 p.m.: Alan M. Gladney, 23, of Carthage, was arrested in Benton County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

8:27 a.m.: Richard M. Tamblyn, 58, of Leawood, Kansas, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of second degree assault, operating a personal watercraft in excess of slow no-wake speed within 50 feet of any vessel or person in/on the water.

July 19

12:07 a.m.: Michelle L. Anderson, 44, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license and failure to dim headlights.
