This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
Sedalia Police Department
6:52 p.m.: Collin Thomas Bressie, 26, 26 of Sedalia, was arrested in the 2200 block of West First Street on a charge of violation of a protection order. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released.
7:20 p.m.: Crystle Wilson, 27, of Sedalia was arrested in the 200 block of East Saline Avenue on two charges of possession of synthetic narcotics, a charge of felony tampering with evidence, distribution of synthetic narcotics, and a charge of driving on a suspended or revoked driver license. Accord to a Sedalia police report, Wilson was stopped and the reporting officer ran a check on her license and discovered it was suspended or revoked. Wilson was then arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Upon a search of Wilson by a Pettis County Sheriff’s deputy at the jail, the deputy allegedly discovered Wilson to be in possession of Demerol. Wilson then reportedly attempted to eat the found narcotics.
10:44 a.m.: Lauren A. Davis, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of animal abuse after a person called police and reported two dogs locked in a car with the windows closed in the parking lot at the business. Police located Davis in the store and issued her a summons to appear in court. It was not reported what was done with the dogs.
2:33 a.m.:Hillary Brooke Smith, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 700 block of West Third Street on a charge of thrid degree domestic assault. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
9: 21 p.m.: A theft by stealing was reported in the 200 block of Southe Lamine Avenue. The report said approximately $700 was stolen from a safe at the residence.
9:45 a.m.: A theft by stealing was reported in the 1200 block of South Sneed Avenue. Two drills, to battery charger, a tool bag and two batteries with a combined value of $280 was stolen from a garage at a residence.
9:59 a.m.: A cellphone with a value of approximately $200 was stolen in the 2800 block of South Limit Avenue.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
3:33 p.m.: Paul C. Wright, 37, of Kansas City, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and no insurance.
7:22 p.m.: Dustin R. Street, 31, of El Dorado Springs, was arrested in Benton County on charges of resisting arrest, possession of meth, driving with a revoked license, failure to yield to red and blue lights and possession of drug paraphernalia.
11:41 p.m.: Kyle Ehringer, 21, of Mt. Lakes, New Jersey, and Ferhad N. Chohan, 21, of Boonton, New Jersey, were both arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
11:21 p.m.: Rocky M. Cunningham, 23, of Kansas City was arrested in Saline County of a charge of misdemeanor marijuana possession and a felony warrant out of Independence. He was booked into the Saline County Jail.
