March 9 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

March 6

8:30 p.m.: Alex Esser, 17, of the 2300 block of North Woodlawn Drive, was issued a municipal court summons in the 2400 block of North Woodlawn Drive for assault. As reported in Wednesday’s Police Reports, at 7:58 p.m. March 6 a victim reported a neighbor came into their residence in the 2400 block of Woodlawn Drive and punched him in the face. The suspect then reportedly tried climbing through the window after the victim slammed the door on him. The suspect was identified as Esser, who said he went to the neighbor’s house as no one was supposed to be home. He said the victim opened the door, shoved Esser and lunged at him. Esser said he punched the victim as he was lunging at him.

March 7

2:46 a.m.: Michael D. Rackham, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested on Ninth Street on charges of failure to register a motor vehicle annually with the Department of Revenue and driving with a revoked license. An officer responded to a report of a vehicle following a complainant. When the suspect vehicle stopped on Ninth Street, the officer made contact with the driver and saw the vehicle had no license plates.

5:28 a.m.: Trina L. Harvey, 35, of the 600 block of West Broadway Boulevard, was arrested in the 1900 block of New York Avenue on charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Mary E. Brockman, 43, no address given, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, second degree property damage, second degree kidnapping, speeding and careless driving. An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign at West 20th Street and South Missouri Avenue. The suspect vehicle sped up when the officer activated his lights and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended on New York Avenue and several subjects were detained. Harvey, a passenger, was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant. After her arrest she was found in possession of pills and marijuana. Brockman was the driver of the vehicle.

3:28 p.m.: Ronnie A. Cantrell, 54, of the 1900 block of East Broadway Boulevard, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of driving with a revoked license and receiving stolen property. An officer conducted a subject check and discovered the license plate on the subject’s vehicle had been reported stolen.

March 7

8:54 p.m.: Jaquest R. Tucker, 23, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

8:54 p.m.: Teray I. Thompson, 23, of Newport News, Virginia, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession marijuana and driving with a revoked license.

8:54 p.m.: Marquan T. Amodia, 29, of Hampton, Virginia, was arrested in Saline County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

March 8

9:30 a.m.: Jonathan E. Goode, 29, of West Pueblo, Colorado, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
