Sedalia Police Department
1:04 p.m.: Ronnie A. Cantrell, 54, of the 1900 block of East Broadway Boulevard, was arrested at his residence on charges of stealing and second degree burglary. A suspect was seen on video concealing merchandise at a business. The suspect was later located and arrested at his residence.
1 p.m.: Brian Eugene Tripp, 29, of the 300 block of North Summit Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of Saline Avenue and North Mill Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
9:14 p.m.: Jeremy M. Lawson, 31, of the 23000 block of North U.S. Highway 65, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Marshall Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, failure to register annually with the Department of Revenue, failure to maintain financial responsibility and careless driving. An officer conducted a traffic stop and the vehicle fled the area, beginning a pursuit. The suspect fled on foot around the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Marshall Avenue while the vehicle was still moving. The vehicle left the road and struck a mailbox and a parked vehicle before it came to rest near East Ninth Street. The suspect was located near the same intersection and arrested.
3:21 a.m.: Jesse Ross Nevils, 29, of Knob Noster, was arrested in the 800 block of South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving while intoxicated. SPD received a report of a truck following another vehicle and driving erratically. Officers made contact with both drivers and found the truck driver was intoxicated.
6 a.m.: Nicholas Huerta, 22, of the 1300 block of South Carr Avenue, was arrested at his residence on a charge of failure to obey.
10:27 a.m.: Shawn B. Bosworth, 34, of the 300 block of West 10th Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Sixth Street and South Hancock Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding.
8:28 a.m.: An unknown subject reportedly broke the side window of a church bus in the 1400 block of East 16th Street and attempted to steal it.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
5 p.m.: Clint B. Nichol, 42, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving with a revoked license, failure to display valid license plates and no seat belt.
3:02 a.m.: Matthew S. Brown, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
