March 20 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

March 15

1:24 p.m.: Debra A. Pierce, 45, of Warsaw, was arrested near the intersection of South Engineer Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to a report of an impaired driver near the intersection of Main Street and Grand Avenue. The witness followed the subject until officers made contact near Engineer and Broadway. After speaking to the driver, it was determined she was impaired. She consented to a blood draw.

March 16

9:18 p.m.: Maria D. Lowe, 35, of the 500 block of West Third Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Sixth Street and South Washington Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license and failure to register annually with the Department of Revenue.

11:09 p.m.: Zachariah C. Sparks, 27, of the 4300 block of McVey Road, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Limit Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

March 18

Arrests

12:29 a.m.: Demetrius Douglas Brown, 39, of the 1200 block of East 11th Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of South Marvin Avenue and East 11th Street on suspicion of driving with a suspended licesne.

12:42 a.m.: Chandler Ja’Sean Padgett, 19, of the 1500 block of Mildred Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested at his residence on charges of domestic assault in the fourth degree for assaulting his mother.

3:30 a.m.: Ana Marie Marcos, 19, of the 2900 block of South Washington Boulevard in Sedalia, was issued a court summons near the intersection of East 12th Street and Lamine Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana.

6:30 p.m.: Michael S. Conchola, 36, of Richmond, was arrested in the 1700 block of Ninth Street on charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a concealed weapon.

9:42 p.m.: Matthew Morgan Thomas, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Moniteau Avenue was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

March 17

4:06 a.m.: Officers responded to a business alarm in the 3000 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Upon arrival they found the front door glass was shattered. Management told officers four laptops, valued at $2,293.07, were stolen from the display stand near the front of the store.

March 17

1:45 p.m.: Timothy Duane Jackson, age unknown, was arrested on a charge of stealing for the theft of a lawnmower in La Monte.

Arrests

March 16

9:58 p.m.: Jonathan M. Todd, 35, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

10:32 p.m.: Deron L. Marshall, 25, of Carrollton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

10:32 p.m.: Casandra L. Hood, 42, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, false impersonation and a total of seven felony warrants and two misdemeanor warrants from various jurisdictions.

March 17

2:41 a.m.: Dorian C. Knight, 21, of Washington, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

5:17 p.m.: Teresa J. Dyson, 59, of Deepwater, was arrested in Henry County on a charges of driving while intoxicated.

March 18

6:54 a.m.: Jacob T. Forrester, 23, of Marshall, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of marijuana up to 10 grams, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, speeding, no insurance and no seat belt.

6:54 a.m.: Carl L. Jones, 20, of Marshall, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt.

11:25 p.m.: Tiffany R. Coolberth, 37, of Topeka, Kansas, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive on right half of roadway.

11:41 p.m.: Wendell L. Howe, 50, of Chilhowee, was arrested on Henry County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

11:54 p.m.: Frederick Curry, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested in Benton County on charges felony driving while revoked, failure to display valid plates and a felony probation and parole warrant.
