Arrests

Aug. 14

11:06 p.m.: Paul Norman Waller, 56, of Sedalia, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Massachusetts Avenue on suspicion of trespassing. He was booked into the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Aug. 16

3:48 a.m.: Nolan R. Smith, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

6:59 p.m.: Laura Kim Charland, 47, of Warrensburg, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on suspicion of stealing/shoplifting of items worth less than $150.

Incidents

Aug. 15

8:09 p.m.: A theft by stealing of a cellphone, valued at $699, occurred in the 3400 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

Aug. 15

Incidents:

4:07 p.m.: Some lawn ornaments were reported stolen in the 1400 block of Elm Hills Boulevard in Sedalia. The items were located and returned to the owner.

1:48 p.m.: A person was reported missing to deputies. The alleged missing person’s identity was not released.

Aug. 15

12:21 a.m.: Felicia R. Goad, 27, of Kansas City, was arrested in Pettis County on suspicion of possession of 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
