This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Aug. 28

9:47 a.m.: Cassiopia R. Demars, 28, of the 2600 block of U.S. Highway 50, was arrested in the 1700 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

1:31 p.m.: James Lewis Wade, 44, of the 1100 block of East 11th Street, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing.

1:40 p.m.: Cleo P. Marshall, 57, of the 400 block of West Cooper Street, was arrested at her residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

6:45 p.m.: Jackie W. Hensley Sr., 53, of the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue, was arrested in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue on charges of stealing, four counts of second degree burglary, first degree property damage and first degree trespassing.

6:53 p.m.: Jesse R. Smith, 48, of the 200 block of East Walnut Street, was arrested in the 300 block of South Moniteau Avenue on a charge of urinating in public.

Aug. 29

7:28 a.m.: Colton A. Warner, 27, of Springfield, was arrested in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

7:36 p.m.: Nicholas A. Moore, 29, of Springfield, was arrested in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:13 a.m.: Alicia M. Howell, 27, of Springfield, was arrested in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:56 a.m.: Bobby J. Moore, 38, of the 1100 block of East 13th Street, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.

12:10 p.m.: Freddie M. Thomas, 45, of the 1100 block of South Massachusetts Avenue, was issued a municipal court summons in the 700 block of West Seventh Street for stealing.

3:40 p.m.: Jonathan F. Pierson, 30, of Mora, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

3:40 p.m. Ashley J. Riley, 29, of Mora, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

10:52 p.m.: Victoria Renna Williams, 31, of the 1600 block of South Osage Avenue, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of stealing.

Aug. 30

3:54 a.m.: Lyles L. Clark, 56, of the 1300 block of East 14th Street, was arrested at his residence on charges of driving with a suspended license and second degree domestic assault.

Incidents

Aug. 28

9:31 a.m.: Four prescription pills were reported stolen from a bedroom by someone inside the residence in the 1100 block of West 10th Street.

9:43 a.m.: A sexual assault was reported in the 2500 block of South Stewart Avenue.

10:52 p.m.: Jewelry, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen from a residence in the 1400 block of South Vermont Avenue.

Aug. 29

11:57 a.m.: $900 worth of unspecified items were reported stolen from a storage unit in the 800 block of South Mitchell Road.

5:04 p.m.: A white male driving a white Dodge pickup reportedly stole $18 worth of gas from a business in the 3000 block of South Limit Avenue.

Arrests

Aug. 28

7:35 p.m.: Kevin M. Binder, 34, of Green Ridge, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:32 p.m.: Linda A. Mills, 58, of Boonville, was arrested in Morgan County on a charge of speeding.

10:40 p.m.: Ronald E. Barker, 38, of Clinton, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 29

1:50 a.m.: Brock A. Simon, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

9:50 a.m.: Ronald. W. Sonich, 35, of Kansas City, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle, first degree trafficking, possession of stolen firearms, resisting arrest and felon in possession of a firearm.

9:50 a.m.: William N. Brown, 27, of Centerview, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle, first degree trafficking, possession of stolen firearms, resisting arrest and felon in possession of a firearm.

8:17 p.m.: Alisha A. McGuire, 31, of Versailles, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of property damage, failure to signal, careless and imprudent driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving while intoxicated, third degree assault on a law enforcement officer and speeding.

11:28 p.m.: Jacob Matykiewicz, 21, of Phoenix, Arizona, was arrested in Pettis County on charges of driving while intoxicated and no insurance.

Aug. 30

2:36 a.m.: Sara M. Kaiser, 34, of Jefferson City, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

4:22 a.m.: Eric M. Rackers, 23, of Jefferson City, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to wear protective headgear on a motorcycle in motion.

6:25 a.m.: Mark A. McQuitty, 38, of Clinton, was arrested in Johnson County was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain the right half of the road.
