Sept. 4 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 1

4:02 p.m.: Adam L. Kettle, 39, of the 2400 block of Greenwood Lane, was arrested at his residence on a charge of abuse of a child and second degree domestic assault.

5:21 p.m.: Dusty L. Smith, 58, of the 2200 block of West First Terrace Street, was arrested near the intersection of East Third Street and South Marvin Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

7:48 p.m.: Donald Ray Lutjen Jr., 23, of the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of East Ninth Street and Ingram Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

9:14 p.m.: Amy A. Rios, 26, of the 100 block of East Walnut Street, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of East Chestnut Street and North Emmet Avenue for possession of marijuana.

Incidents

Sept. 1

1:47 p.m.: A subject reportedly threw a rock through a storm door, valued at $50, at a residence in the 1700 block of South Montgomery Avenue.

3:22 p.m.: Kitchen cabinets were reported stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Boonville Road. The victim had advertised the cabinets for $500 and was taking a customer to the home to show the items when she found them missing.

3:51 p.m.: The screen around a window, valued at $30, was reported damaged at a residence in the 400 block of West 10th Street. The screen appeared to be damaged while the unknown suspect attempted to remove it from the house.

Arrests

Sept. 2

11:04 a.m.: Heather L. Thompkins, 25, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested in Benton County on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
