Sept. 5-6 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 2

9:33 p.m.: Susan Lennea Johnson, 53, of the 3500 block of Sweet William Lane, was arrested in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of speeding, careless driving and driving while intoxicated.

Sept. 3

1:50 p.m.: Frances M. Gaddy, 51, of the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue, was arrested in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

6:08 p.m.: Tammy Sue Brown, 44, of the 900 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard on a charge of trespassing.

6:13 p.m.: Carolyn R. Wright, 45, of the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court, was arrested at her residence on a charge of destruction of non-city property.

6:35 p.m.: Charlotte L. Altis, 61, of the 3200 block of Sandstone Street, was arrested at her residence on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

8:20 p.m.: Dawn R. Showman, 35, of the 400 block of Buckner Court, was arrested at her residence on charges of misusing 911 and resisting arrest.

Incidents

Aug. 27

6:39 a.m.: A juvenile victim who was waiting for the school bus near the intersection of East Fifth Street and Brown Avenue, was reportedly bitten by a dog that was running loose. Once the dogs were captured and officers learned who the owners were, the owners were issued a municipal court summons.

Sept. 3

9:36 a.m.: Medication was reported stolen from a business in the 1200 block of East 24th Street by an employee.

2:12 p.m.: A male victim reported his wife cut him with an unknown object after an argument in the 400 block of East Howard Street.

9:20 p.m.: A female subject reportedly used coupons for items she didn’t purchase at a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. She left the store without paying for $194.50 worth of merchandise.
