Sept. 15 Police Reports


This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 12

2:59 a.m.: Joseph Dwayne Robinson, 50, of the 200 block of North Washington Avenue, was arrested at his residence on a charge of misusing 911.

Sept. 13

5:18 a.m.: Krystal Kay Searcy, 47, of La Monte, was arrested near the intersection of South Moniteau Avenue and West Broadway Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Sept. 14

1:30 p.m.: Travis E. Ballew, 35, of the 1200 block of West 11th Street, was arrested in the 1200 block of West 11th Street on charges of third degree assault and first degree trespassing.

Incidents

Sept. 11

3:07 p.m.: An employee, who is suspended from the business, entered the building in the 1500 block of South Limit Avenue and stole money from the cash register.

Sept. 12

11:56 a.m.: A gate was reported damaged and a lock and clasp to another door was damaged on the train building at Liberty Park in the 1500 block of West Third Street.

2:38 p.m.: Someone reportedly forced entry into a building in the 1000 block of West Main Street through the garage door and stole a trailer.

Sept. 13

4:19 p.m.: A wallet was reported stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of South Osage Avenue.

5:02 p.m.: Former renters moved out of a residence in the 1800 block of South Kentucky Avenue but stole a Frigidaire refrigerator and a window air conditioning unit, combined value of $700.

Sept. 14

4:19 a.m.: A motorcycle, valued at $7,000, was reported stolen from the backyard of a residence in the 1000 block of South Ohio Avenue.

7:01 a.m.: Change was reported stolen from a locked vehicle in the 2100 block of South Grand Avenue.

11:50 a.m.: A victim was having a verbal argument with a subject in the 600 block of South Osage Avenue when it turned physical. The suspect hit the victim while they were arguing with the original subject.

1:09 p.m.: A domestic disturbance was reported near the intersection of Wing and Anderson avenues.

2:34 p.m.: A suspect reportedly damaged a vehicle with beer bottles in the 1200 block of South Carr Avenue.

Incidents

Sept. 11

7:30 p.m.: Deputies were notified by Pettis County Jail officers that a female was found to have a glass pipe with a powdery substance in it in her possession.

Sept. 12

9:26 a.m.: Identity theft was reported in the 23000 block of state Route D in Hughesville.

10:20 p.m.: A burglary was reported in the 10000 block of Brandon Road.

Sept. 13

12:49 a.m.: An unknown white male subject allegedly stole a 12-pack of beer, valued at $14.26, from a business in the 4500 block of South Limit Avenue.

8:59 p.m.: A physical domestic assault was reported in the 15000 block of Tevebaugh Road in Houstonia.
