Sept. 17 Police Reports

This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sept. 15

9:32 p.m.: Barry Booker Cooper, 36, of the 800 block of East 13th Street, was arrested at his residence on charges of possession of marijuana and failure to obey.

Sept. 16

2:30 p.m.: Jason William Harvey, 43, of the 200 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested at his residence on a charge of third degree domestic assault.


Sept. 14

10:19 p.m.: Two cans of alcohol were reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of East 16th Street.

Sept. 15

1:57 p.m.: A Hitachi flat screen television was reported stolen from a storage container in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue.

2:28 p.m.: A subject reportedly filled a bag with men’s clothing and ran out the door of a business in the 3100 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

5:59 p.m.: A subject’s father reportedly entered his business in the 3500 block of South Park Avenue and began destroying property. The suspect then attempted to come into the subject’s residence by kicking in the back door, but he left before police officers arrived.

Sept. 16

2:03 p.m.: A victim reportedly lost a wallet in the 1500 block of West Third Street. When he found it, $150 in cash was missing.

3:02 p.m.: Two trailers, combined value of $3,047, were reported stolen from a business in the 3800 block of South Limit Avenue.
