Sedalia Police Department
8:30 p.m.: Peter Jeffery Clawson, 46, of the 1600 block of South Barrett Avenue, was issued a municipal court summons in the 1600 block of South Beacon Avenue for animals running at large.
10:24 p.m.: Charlene Marie Hicks, 35, of the 1100 block of West Fourth Street, was arrested in the 2800 block of West Broadway Boulevard on charges of distributing methamphetamine, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful transaction with a child.
7:43 a.m.: A subject reportedly poured sugar into the gas tank of a vehicle in the 2500 block of Margaret Avenue, shoved a potato into the exhaust pipe, wrote profanity on the driver’s side window, and put a balloon over the exhaust pipe.
12:04 p.m.: A portion of a garage was reportedly pushed in and a stud was broken at a residence in the 1000 block of South Osage Avenue.
2:47 p.m.: A male and female suspects reportedly stole a wallet and nail polish from a business in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard. The suspects were identified and each issued a municipal court summons for stealing.
6:32 p.m.: Tail light bulbs, valued at $1.69, were reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of East 16th Street.
5:09 p.m.: A male subject reportedly drove his vehicle into several other vehicles in a business parking lot in the 2000 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The subject told officers he confused the gas pedal with the brake pedal. His vehicle struck three vehicles before coming to rest near the northeast side of the building. A railing on the north side of the building was damaged.
6:35 p.m.: $17.96 worth of merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard.
3:49 a.m.: A victim heard someone kick in his front door while he was in his bedroom in the 700 block of East Fifth Street. He did not see the subject, and nothing was stolen.
Pettis County Sheriff’s Office
10:41 a.m.: $1,1000 worth of unspecified items were reported stolen from a storage building near Gentry and Cedar roads.
8:33 a.m.: Two red heifers and one black heifer, combined value of $3,375, were reported missing from a fenced in field in the 31000 block of state Route E in Green Ridge.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
10:41 p.m.: Dustin R. Davis, 34, of Jenks, Oklahoma, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid license, no turn signal, no insurance and speeding.
7:38 a.m.: Kevin L. Jones, 25, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested in Saline County on charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and speeding.
